DESCRIPTION

Born from the aftermath of heavy storms, the Polanco Media Console carries a story in every grain. Our artisans in Mexico seek out fallen Mexican ash trees, giving them a new life. Each log is meticulously oyster-cut and arranged by hand, then united with fragments of sustainably grown European ash burl to create a breathtaking, mosaic-like surface.

The console stands atop a base of naturally oxidized steel, left to weather in the elements to develop its own unique patina of dimples and speckles. This intentional rusticity provides the perfect contrast to the wood's intricate tapestry.

• A hand-applied, reactive finish highlights the natural beauty and tonality of the wood. An acrylic lacquer is then applied for added protection.
• Oyster-cut wood may display cracks and other organic features, including scorch marks, water stains, and natural graining, that will not affect the quality or performance of your piece.
• Bases are crafted from steel panels left out in the elements to weather, developing a rich patina of dimples and speckles as they age.
• Includes two adjustable/removable shelves and cord management.
